Sliding-Scale for Payments: Unexpected Financial Hardship Should not be a Barrier to Mental Health.

Pacifica Care has a sliding-scale payment program that is available to established patients. This program is designed to ensure that our patients maintain access to their mental healthcare even if they encounter financial hardship. Eligibility is based solely on our patient's ability to pay as determined by Federal Poverty Guidelines, family size and does not discriminate based on age, gender, race, creed, disability or national origin.We update our program annually to remain consistent with the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Pacifica Care will base discounts on income and family size only by utilizing the Census Bureau definitions of each. The US Census Bureau defines a family as a group of two or more people who are related by birth, marriage, or adoption and live together in the same household. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact our office to receive an application for assistance.
